My Triathlon Journey

I signed up for my first triathlon because I was overweight and dealing with major back problems. I turned to a healthy lifestyle instead of surgery and went on an amazing journey where I learned how to find joy in pushing myself to new limits. The two years I participated in the Iron Girl Columbia were the most rewarding events I’ve ever done! Read below to follow my journey from the beginning.

8/10/2016 Iron Girl Columbia 2016 Race Recap

The Iron Girl Columbia ran its last event in 2017 which I missed due to being pregnant (and later miscarrying). I got pregnant again not too long after so I haven’t had a chance to do a new event but I definitely see myself doing another one in the future!
